There comes a point in some comedian actor’s lives when they just aren’t funny anymore so they try going off in another “artistic” direction. Former funnyman Jim Carrey is at that point. His recent stint as a traditional “artist” is not only not funny, it’s just disturbing.
You have to wonder what is going on inside his mind because many of Carrey’s illustrations and paintings are grotesque, dreadful phenomenons meant to make us feel uncomfortable and confused, and maybe even a little scared for the actor’s well being.
They are blatantly meant to be offensive in nature, just to be clear, but even for someone with a history of being as mentally deranged as Jim Carrey, this latest piece is unheard-of.

Left-wing Hollywood actor Jim Carrey posted a grotesque painting depicting a tearful man breathing from a ventilator and wearing a red hat with the words “MAKE AMERICA DIE FOR HIM” on it.
Carrey’s latest political painting is similar to most of his pieces in that it smears average Americans who support President Donald Trump. The Sonic the Hedgehog star captioned his tweet, “180,000 death and counting.”
Carrey’s demented art skills have long been masked by his immense fame as an A-list celebrity since his break out roll in Ace Ventura in 1994. But now that spotlight has faded and all that is left for people to focus on is the grade school level art he has created.
If Carrey has any chance at all at going back to making hilarious blockbusters he should take it and hold on tight because there is no future for him in the art world.
