Just when you think you have seen the worst that humanity has to offer, you see something like this that disgusts, saddens and shocks you all over again.
While working as an abortion counselor at Cherry Hill Women’s Center in New Jersey, Emily Letts became pregnant. She then decided to get an abortion and film the entire thing herself. What could possibly cause her to think it was a good idea to hold a camera on herself as her child was literally being ripped from life and murdered?
Letts reasoning was that she wanted to empower other women and reduce the stigma of getting an abortion.
There is no way to justify taking an innocent life. Abortion is murder any way you slice it.
In a blog post on Cosmopolitan Letts explained, “I learned there are three kinds of doulas: birth doulas, adoption doulas, and abortion doulas. I had never been political about abortion rights before, but the idea of helping women through an abortion and supporting them and reassuring them that they are still wonderful and beautiful resonated deeply with me. I had spent so long in the trappings of competition with other women and putting too much pressure on myself that I just wanted to help women.”
After being hired on as a counselor Cherry Hill for a year, Letts found out she was pregnant. Right after taking the pregnancy test, she said, “I knew immediately I was going to have an abortion.”
You would think that working in that type of business for a year she would have enough common sense to know how to NOT get pregnant. It was as if she got pregnant just to get the abortion and receive some sort of internet recognition.
She describes the experience as a positive one and recalls “feeling the love from everyone in the room.”
Letts said, “I remember breathing and humming through it like I was giving birth. I know that sounds weird, but to me, this was as birth-like as it could be. It will always be a special memory for me. I still have my sonogram, and if my apartment were to catch fire, it would be the first thing I’d grab.”
How selfish can you be? To compare having an abortion to the miracle of giving birth is just sickening. If she really cared at all she wouldn’t have murdered an unborn baby.
