A Florida man in Jacksonville, Florida, who drove his van through a tent where Trump supporters were working to register voters on Saturday has been identified by police as Gregory Timm.
As Timm drove his van through the tent he barely missed hitting several people who are members of the Duval County GOP set up registering people to vote. After crashing through the tent he fled the scene. He was caught by the police just a few hours later.
Images of the vehicle fleeing the scene and the aftermath were posted to Twitter by the Duval County GOP.

“I just spoke to the local GOP chair. This is outrageous,” said Lenny Curry, the Mayor of Jacksonville in response to the attack. “The hate is toxic and dangerous. Thankfully no one was injured but certainly, they are shaken after being targeted because they were registering voters. I’ve spoken to the Sheriff and of course, his team is on top of this,” said Curry in a statement.
