A teacher from Barranquilla, Colombia was reportedly fired from her position as an instructor after her former school’s administrators caught an eyeful of her sultry Instagram snaps.
Yeimmy Ilias Isaza was deemed “inappropriate” by school authorities. In several images, Isaza poses in skintight dresses, skimpy bikinis, and silky lingerie. But the woman loves to show off her shapes on Instagram, and on her private profile, and apparently, her photos are very popular as she can count over 393,000 social media followers.
Now, the administrators of the University of Barranquilla considered the photos excessively provocative and inappropriate. And even though she was said to have been “a hit in the classroom and loved her job,” yet, administrators at her school unapologetically sacked the educator.

According to The Sun, “School chiefs were said to be appalled after seeing her risque pictures of her in teeny bikinis and skin-tight dresses. They reportedly said the image she projected ‘was not consistent’ with that of her workplace.”

The question is whether or not Yeimmy Ilias Isaza’s social media images violate teacher discipline laws despite their undeniable beauty and sex appeal. Her unceremonious exit from her teaching post sparked a cry of digital support from fans; many on the web have contested the university’s decision to fire the professor, noting that what is used in private should have no consequences, at least in theory, in the workplace.
“What a beauty! Don’t pay attention to those who criticize just to criticize,” commented an advocate.
“I think envy is one of the greatest evils of our time,” while another added.
As well as seductively posing on a bed in red lingerie while her long locks cascaded down her back, Yeimmy shared snaps of her soaking up the sun in swimwear, partying with her pals, in her workwear. With another photo reportedly shows the educator flaunting her figure in a black bikini while sporting a red cowboy hat and sunglasses, as reported by The Sun.

Despite the fact that she was popular in the classroom and loved her work, sadly, Yeimmy’s teaching position was lost when the administrators at the school found her Instagram posts offensive.
This has sparked a debate as to if and when a teacher’s online presence conflicts with their duties as an educator. But it is safe to assume that Yeimmy Ilias Isaza was fired as a result of her social media posts since there are no allegations that the instructor engaged in inappropriate behavior or displayed offensive photographs in front of her students.
After being fired, Yeimmy Ilias Isaza found a new job, again as a teacher, but at another institution. Thanks to the controversy that arose from her bikini photos and the strong media attention that the case aroused, the professor gained even more followers on social networks, in particular on Instagram, where she continues to publish photos with light and provocative content. “It’s not just about believing in you, it’s about working on you,” Isaza wrote under a photo of her in a sexy dress.
However, a similar episode took place a few years ago in Italy, in Pordenone, where a teacher was suspended for six months after one of her videos was released at an eros fair in Berlin. The woman has always claimed her correctness and school-appropriate behavior, noting that there are significant differences between the private and professional spheres.
