She used to have the “perfect life,” married to a wealthy Hollywood celebrity, and on the covers of fitness magazines, however, unimaginable things just happened.
Loni Willison lived a prestigious life and was the envy of many, the 40-year-old woman famously married Bay Watch star, Jeremy Jackson from 2012 to 2014 besides being an American fitness model, Loni was featured in several ads for bikinis and was previously working as an assistant in a cosmetic surgery center in Los Angeles but Life threw curveballs at her, changing her lifestyle and social circles.
Wilson and Jeremy tied the knot in 2012 but after spending two years together their marriage crumbled, in 2014 the pair got into a messy divorce, at their West Hollywood home, and Wilson accused Jeremy of trying to kill her. She suffered various injuries to her neck, face, and torso as a result of Jeremy’s violent strangulation. And two of her ribs were broken.
But after filing for divorce, the model suffered from mental health issues and began experimenting with drugs, and has battled addictions to both meth and alcohol. Sadly, Wilson soon found herself without a job, apartment, or car, leaving her absolutely homeless.
In 2018, one of her friends attempted to have her taken to a treatment facility, but she fled and disappeared without a trace.
The former model has been sleeping rough on the streets of LA for over six years now.
In October 2020, the model reappeared for the first time in two years, Willison was found on the streets having been homeless since around 2016.
The 38-year-old former swimsuit model was unrecognizably aged when she was spotted. The former magazine cover girl was out and about in shabby clothing and bare feet. Willison was also seen earlier in the evening smoking a cigarette and scavenging food out of a dumpster in an alley.
Wilson’s former opulent existence was in sharp contrast to the entire scenario. She was living the typical Hollywood ideal before her fallout six years ago, blitzing on red carpets, modeling, and attending events with the handsome Jeremy Jackson, the star of Baywatch, whom she married in 2012.
Shortly after she was discovered, she did an interview. She asserted in an interview that neither her “celebrity life” nor her usage of drugs was to blame for her homelessness. Wilson preferred to attribute her abuse to some genuinely “bad people.” She spoke openly about living as a wanderer, claiming,
“I got electrocuted before I became homeless for nine months solid, every f**king day and so I can’t stay in one spot. I can’t live in a building. I can’t live in a home. I can’t live anywhere because I have to move around constantly.”
Neither Loni Willison’s friends nor her ex-husband, Jeremy Jackson, are in touch with her. Wilson, who was once on the cover of Glam Fit magazine in Australia, wishes to continue living her life alone in the street. “I haven’t spoken to Jeremy. I don’t want to speak to my friends, I’m doing just fine. I don’t want anyone to help me.” She said.
She said, she is comfortable living on her own and insisted on living in Venice due to the area’s nature.
“I haven’t got a cell phone. I’ve got food and I’ve got a place to sleep. I get money here and there and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here.”
