Well, Texas Democrats are desperately trying hard to kick Abbott…
Greg Abbott, a Republican who is now serving as governor of the Lone Star State, is being challenged by Beto O’Rourke. Beto has been hailed as the “Great Blue Hope” who will start Texas shifting to the Democratic Party, just like in his 2018 Senate campaign against Sen. Ted Cruz.
On Monday, NPR reported arguing that “an abortion ban and the school shooting in Uvalde may have shifted the odds in the governor’s race,” as Texas Gov. Abbott’s lead over “Democratic challenger O’Rourke is narrowing,”
But Abbott continued to lead by 6 percentage points as of Tuesday morning, according to RealClearPolitics’ aggregate statistics, and the figures have remained stable since polling started last summer.
Additionally, it doesn’t imply that Texas is going blue because it was filled up with red. During a Friday visit to Rockdale, a community located 40 miles west of College Station, O’Rourke learned this lesson the hard way.
In Waco’s KWKT-TV report, O’Rourke “will spend 49 days on the road and visit every part of Texas this summer,” The Democratic Governor candidate despite not being very popular in these areas has spent a lot of time in very red areas on this 49-day road trip like Milam county, a very desperate move.

However, things didn’t turn out as what O’Rourke wanted because following his speech in Rockdale’s Kay Theatre, a group of Gov. Greg Abbott’s supporters gathered in front of it holding “Abbott for Texas” signs, letting O’Rourke know that Texas is not for Democrats.

Does actually think they’ll elect him Governor?

“Rockdale showed up to let him know that we the people of Texas do not want BETO for governor,” said one supporter. With others singing to the tune of Kid Rock’s “We the People,” while placards following him to his pickup truck.
“We the people in all we do / Reserve the right to scream ‘f*** you / ‘Wear your mask, take your pills’ / Now a whole generation’s mentally ill,” the lyrics to Mr. Rock’s anti-Biden anthem read. The chorus? “We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon),” as per Western Journal.

Beto O’Rourke is known for his stance and for desperate change in Texas gun laws. Wherein a few months ago, O’Rourke went viral after being ejected from Governor Greg Abbott’s press conference on the Robb Elementary School shooting when O’Rourke interrupted a briefing, while Abbott was wrapping up his opening remarks about the killing of school children and teachers in Uvalde, Texas when O’Rourke strode forward from his seat in the audience thinking as if he was a hero, and interrupted a speech while pointing a finger at the Texas Governor.
And with that — the briefing transformed into an argument, thanks to O’Rourke for being a hero.
