MSNBC’s Craig Melvin thought it’d be a good idea to ask Mark Sanford, Republican Rep., who was the subject of a major cheating scandal, about Trump’s “Morning Joe” tweets.
While he was governor of South Carolina, Sanford disappeared for six days before he was caught on a return flight from Buenos Aires, where it was revealed he had been having an extramarital affair with an Argentinian woman for about a year.
I guess ol’ Melvin thought it’d be a good idea to ask Sanford about this as the tweets mock Mika Brzezinski for allegedly getting a face lift, and that tweet is seen as offensive and sexist.
It’s a two part tweet.

…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

“It’s just offensive period,” Sanford said. “In terms of the messages my former wife and I try to teach our four boys, it doesn’t fit with what people would want to see.”
