Senator Cruz Just Spoke for Most of America In Three Powerful Sentences

News For You

Senator Ted Cruz let his disappointment in his party’s inability to repeal Obamacare after Senator John McCain oddly voted “NO” on said repeal, stating that many Americans “feel a sense of betrayal”.

“And you know, there are going to be a great many Americans who tonight feel a sense of betrayal — feel a sense of betrayal that politicians stood up and made a promise,” Cruz said.

“I’ll tell you this — if you stand up and campaign and say we’re going to repeal Obamacare, and you vote Obamacare — those are not consistent. And the American people are entirely justified in saying any politician who told me that who voted the other way didn’t tell me the truth.”

And I think he’s entirely right, especially in the wake of the McCain debacle. You can see it all over social media, even now. Words and memes and videos and everyone who considers themselves a republican and/or a conservative our letting their voices be heard in regards to the disappointment of John McCain.
