There is a huge storm heading toward Washington DC this week and the MAGA movement is calling upon President Trump’s supporters to occupy the nation’s capital while Congressional Republicans make a final stand regarding the 2020 election.
Several Senators are expected to object to the electoral college’s results on Wednesday and President Trump is counting on see a sea of sympathetic faces on the national mall, with a diverse plethora of Trump-supporting factions set to arrive in the coming hours.
There is one man who may not make it to the party and that’s the leader of the Proud Boys.
FOX 5 ‘s Evan Lambert reports Enrique Tarrio is facing misdemeanor destruction of property charges in relation to him saying he burned a Black Lives Matter flag that was stolen from a Black church in December during a protest in the District.
D.C. police confirmed Monday evening that officers have arrested 36-year-old Henry “Enrique” Tarrio, of Miami, Florida.
He has been charged with Destruction of Property related to an offense that occurred on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, in the 900 block of 11th Street, Northwest.
And they decided to make an example out of him.
Police say at the time of his arrest, Tarrio was found to be in possession of two high capacity firearm magazines. He has been additionally charged with Possession of High Capacity Feeding Device.
The timing of the arrest was odd, to say the least, and many wondered if the sudden targeting of Tarrio for a three-week old crime was meant to prevent him from attending Wednesday’s festivities.
