In the aftermath of the Chauvin trial there more evidence has slowly leaked out, evidence that shows BLM activists lied during jury selection which, if true, could result in the entire trial being thrown out.

Brandon Mitchell was a juror in the trial of former Minneapolis, Minnesota, police officer Derek Chauvin, who was found guilty on all three counts including second-degree unintentional murder. Mitchell is a known BLM advocate, podcaster, and was documented wearing George Floyd-themed apparel at least twice.

From the Washington Times:

Chauvin juror Brandon Mitchell has said he doesn’t remember wearing or even owning a George Floyd-themed T-shirt, but it turns out he sported it more than once.

He wore the shirt, which says “Get Your Knee Off Our Necks/BLM,” during an Oct. 19 episode of “The Wholesome Podcast,” a dating-and-relationships show that he co-hosts, as shown on YouTube and flagged Wednesday on social media.

Mitchell told the judge during jury selections that he had not attended any Black Lives Matter demonstrations. However, an image of him surfaced participating in a BLM protest in Washington DC last summer.

A section of the questionnaire specifically asked jurors:

“Did you, or someone close to you, participate in any of the demonstrations or marches against police brutality that took place in Minneapolis after George Floyd’s death?” the first asked, with the second asking: “Other than what you have already described above, have you, or anyone close to you, participated in protests about police use of force or police brutality?”

Mitchell reportedly answered “no” to both questions, he also told Chauvin’s lawyer that some police officers are “great guys.”

In response to the photo of him in Washington Mitchell said, “it was directly related to MLK’s March on Washington from the ’60s. … The date of the March on Washington is the date. … It was literally called the anniversary of the March on Washington”

However, in a recent video, Mitchell further confused things when he said the march he attended was not a BLM rally but was for “voter registration.”
