Marines Caught RED HANDED In Human Trafficking Ring

Monday in Southern California a U.S. Marine was arrested on suspicion of attempting to smuggle two Chinese women across the U.S. Mexico border in the trunk of his car.

The junior-enlisted Marine has yet to be identified but has been taken into custody at the San Ysidro port of entry close to San Diego at around one thirty pm, according to Marine spokesman Cameron Edinburgh.

When the 20-year-old Marine was pulled aside for additional screening customs found the two women in the trunk of his ’07 Ford Mustang. Customs and Border Patrol officials are currently investigating the incident.

“The Marine is currently being held in civilian custody.,” Edinburgh said.”The determination as to the adjudicating authority has not yet been made.”

Edinburgh also said that the Marine has not served in the Southwest Border Support Mission, a location where the U.S. troops are assisting the border patrol agents on the U.S.-Mexico border.

According to a CBP spokesperson, the young Marine is expected to face federal charges.

This arrest Monday follows several other Marines that are facing human trafficking charges. Out of two dozes Marines questioned about it, six of them plead guilty to human trafficking as well as drug charges at their military court-martials. Back in July sixteen Marines were arrested and charged with battalion formation that has since been ruled a violation of their rights.

In another incident Border patrol agents arrested two Marines, Lance Cpl. Byron Darnell Law II and Lance Cpl. David Javier Salazar-Quintero trying to cross the border when they were caught with three undocumented immigrants in the back seat of their vehicle.
