As the years go on, most parents never get a break. They often find their to-do lists are getting longer and more stressful as their children grow older and more independent.
Now, one father figure out what was wrong with his daughter’s tub which had started draining poorly. Shawn Weiss uploaded a video on TikTok on his own account, @ShawnWeiss8.
As a father, Shawn admitted that her daughter can be a handful at times even though he loves his teenage daughter immeasurably.
Shawn demonstrates how he reaches into the drain to pick up the object that is blocking it in the now-viral video.
The video, as it turns out, has received such a big response, it was commented on by more than 6,600 individuals and liked by hundreds of thousands, and viewed by millions.
With the following caption, “I can’t believe she let it get this bad!” Shawn posted his viral TikTok video.
Along the video, there was text displayed that read, “My daughter said her tub was draining slowly, so I decided to check it out.”
To the absolute dismay of TikTok users around the world, as he checked it out, the blockage was from his daughter’s hair! As in the scary footage show, Shawn grabs something that is obstructing the tub’s drain.
After a minute, Shawn takes a long clump of hair from the drain and displays it to the camera, that thing must have been building up mass for months now.
It has definitely taught his daughter to be more careful with how she treats the bathroom, although Shawn’s daughter was completely ignorant that her hair had been accumulating in the drain.
After the video has gone viral, numerous thousands of people commented on the video.
And because so much hair had accumulated in the tub’s drain, some commenters were simply amazed, with one person commenting, “Did she scalp someone?”
“That’s a whole weave.”
Some people were concerned that this was a scene from The Ring, with one saying, “The girl from The Ring is down there.”
“She got a whole Ring girl.”
“The grudge is going to be real mad you pulled her weave.”
Over the fact that Shawn removed the hair clump without wearing gloves, another person expressed their dissatisfaction. But Shawn replied, “I really do need to have my brain examined after grabbing that crap with my bare hand! Two hours and six cans of tomato juice to get the stink off my hand!”
For not being in Shawn’s situation and for never having to experience it again, another individual was grateful saying, “I will never take for granted how easy I can wash my hair and let water drain out of my house at the same time.”
While others take it as a teachable moment, with one writing, “Parents, learn from this and stop letting your kids go through life with hair in the drain! Do not be afraid to teach them about good hygiene now because they will thank you later. Your future partner might thank me later for telling all of my friends and family members to always check the tub after someone takes a shower.”
