CNN Under Fire For Slandering GOPs With Offensive COVID Nickname

More News For You

There is no shortage of ways in which the liberal media has attempted to humiliate and defame the GOP in recent years, as they continue to wield their mighty influence over the next generations of Americans.

You see, our political situation has gotten so terribly fraught with hate that there is no willingness to compromise anymore. The world nation sees one another as enemies and not countrymen, and many are fearful that this is far from the end of this feeling.

The latest not-so-subtle dig being hurled at the right comes to us from CNN on-air personality Jim Acosta, who this week suggested that perhaps we should start naming deadly diseases after folks that he doesn’t like.

Viewers ripped CNN’s Jim Acosta this weekend for suggesting that at least one of the new variants of the coronavirus be named the “DeSantis variant,” claiming Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has prolonged the pandemic for not enforcing mask mandates and other restrictive measures.

“People should not have to die so some people can own the libs,” Acosta said on Saturday. “But they may end up owning the pandemic, because they’re prolonging it.”

Then came the uglier attack.

Acosta declared it was time to rename the delta variant after the Florida governor.

“Instead of the delta variant, why not call it the DeSantis variant?” Acosta asked. “We could sell beer koozies that say ‘Don’t Florida My Fauci,’ and use the money to help pay for all of the funerals in the days to come.”

The uncouth soundbite screamed of manufactured outrage, of course, and soon Twitter users had “#ObamaVariant” trending, as an homage to the former President’s 60th Birthday Party on Martha’s Vineyard, where hundreds of guests were seen frolicking and mingling mask-less and uncaring.
