President Donald Trump was at a rally in Iowa this week when protesters interrupted the event but that didn’t stop his supporters from responding and drowning them out with a good ol’ “USA” Chant!
The speech began in Cedar Rapids with the POTUS praising Republican victories in Georgia and South Carolina special elections just before he offered prayers to Steve Scalise.
“I’d like to also take this moment to send our thoughts and prayers to our courageous friend, somebody that I’ve gotten to know very well — Steve Scalise,” Trump said as whistles blew in the background.
Just then, Protesters decided to interrupt the event with President Trump saying “never fails”.
Then, the Pro-Trump crowd began drowning them out, changing USA! and as law enforcement escorted the protesters out of the event, the crowd began booing them [the protesters].
“And we love our police,” Trump said. “We love our police.”
