The Results For The Anti-Military Teacher Are In
This past January Gregory Salcido faced public scrutiny and outrage as he used his classroom to spread his anti-military point of view. According to the video taker, it was not the first time as he had bashed the military before.
“The video was intended to be shown to my dad only because this is not the first time Gregory Salcido has gone on a military rant at all,” Victor Quiñonez said Monday.”
The California teacher is facing the consequences now that The El Rancho Unified School District has terminated him. He has thirty days to appeal this decision. But I don’t see why he should go back to the school as it is clear that he is not teaching the subject matter but instead his own warped opinions. He had the gall to diss the military and did not feel that there was any need for an apology. Unless that’s what this was:
“My goal as it relates to my students related to the military. Is to get them to do everything to get to college. It’s not just the military — I don’t want them to work in a fast-food restaurant, either… I am talking about their academic standing. I don’t think it’s at all a revelation to anybody that those who aren’t stellar students usually find the military a better option. That is as plain as that it’s Tuesday night.”

Salcido had made the following controversial remarks back in January.
“We all have night vision goggles, all that kind of stuff. We can’t freaken control these dudes with robes..because we have a bunch of dumbsh*ts over there. Think about the people you know who are over there. Your Freakin stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They’re dumbsh*ts. They are not like high-level thinkers. They are not academics. They are not intellectual people.”
“They’re the freakin lowest of the low, not morally. I’m not saying they make bad moral decisions. They’re not talented people. ”
“If you join the military it’s because you have no other options. Because you didn’t take of business academically. Your parents didn’t love you enough to push you.”
