After President Trump tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago he was assured that no foreign adversaries were trying to take advantage of his health situation during an “around the world” national security briefing that was held on a secure line.

Along with Trump on the video teleconference were some members of his innermost circle including National Security Agency adviser Robert O’Brien, Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Defense Secretary Mark Esper, and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

Those with inside information of the call report that there have been no strange military movements by any foreign entities but foreign nations are still watching the president’s health situation closely.

According to those who were on the call, President Trump sounded like he was in good spirits and there appeared to be nothing unusual about his physical or mental state.

President Trump was hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center after testing positive for COVID-19 last week. His medical team is confident that he will make a full recovery soon.

A senior administration official commented that, “Early indications are for an extremely good prognosis – but the next 48 hours will be critical.”

Trump has since received two doses of Remdesivir, an anti-viral drug that has been approved by the FDA to help treat the coronavirus.

The president posted a video to twitter updating his followers to his condition, “If you look at the therapeutics which I’m taking right now some of them and others that are coming out soon that are looking like, frankly they’re miracles.”

“I don’t know the next period of a few days,” he added. “I guess — that’s the real test so we’ll be seeing what happened over those next couple of days.”

Officials report that the novel coronavirus has affected more than 7.4 million people in the United States and killed over 209,000.
