A Zoom video conference call between physicians and a marketing director at Novant Heath New Hanover Regional Medical Center went viral this week showing a medical team planning for hospitals to become more “scary to the public” by inflating the number of COVID patients to get them to take the COVID vaccination.
The media alleges that people falsifying COVID details is a conspiracy theory, even when presented with the fact that medical people are falsifying COVID details.
Key Point: A Medical Center in Willmington North Carolina has been exposed as pushing ‘fear porn’ as a tactic to control the people of North Carolina by using weaponized propaganda to push demand for a medical vaccine.
Three medical professionals are being exposed for creating a false panic about COVID-19, and that should lead to an investigation into their backgrounds.

“Leaked video of a conference call between a marketing director and doctors at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) went viral over the past weekend.
The video features three individuals, Dr. Mary Rudyk, former chief medical officer for NHRMC; Carolyn Fisher, NHRMC director of marketing; and Shelbourn Stevens, president of NHRMC and director of Novant’s coastal market.
NHRMC consists of around 20 hospitals and health clinics offering services to people in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
The video begins with Fisher talking about COVID-19 case numbers and data while also stressing the percentage of unvaccinated hospitalizations.
Rudyk responded by saying she feels the hospital’s messaging on COVID case numbers needs to be “a little bit more scary for the public.”
WECT reported on a statement from the facility to explain the matter:
When reached for comment a spokesperson for Novant Health issued the following statement:
“The team members involved in this excerpt of an internal meeting are seeing the highest level of COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths so far in this pandemic – despite having safe and effective vaccines widely available.
This was a frank discussion among medical and communications professionals on how we can more accurately convey the severity and seriousness of what’s happening inside of our hospitals and throughout our communities. Specifically, the data we have been sharing does not include patients who remain hospitalized for COVID-19 complications even though they are no longer COVID-19 positive, so it does not provide a complete picture of the total impact of COVID-19 on our patients and on our hospitals.
We continue to be concerned with the amount of misinformation in our communities and consistently strive for more ways to be transparent and tell the whole story. The continued rise of hospitalizations makes it evident that we have more work to do to reach our communities with these messages.”

“the patients that are still in the hospital, that are off the COVID floor, but are still occupying the hospital for a variety of reasons.”
Shelbourn Stevens, who earlier this year was named president of NHRMC and the Coastal market, clarified Rudyk’s request, explaining that patients who were initially hospitalized with COVID-19 but are no longer positive for the virus are considered “recovered,” and are therefore removed from the hospital’s COVID-19 patient count.
“But I do think, from our standpoint, we would still consider them a COVID patient because they’re still healing,” Stevens said.
The partial video ends with another blunt statement from Rudyk:
“I think we have to be more blunt, we have to be more forceful, we have to say something coming out, ‘you know you don’t get vaccinated, you know you’re going to die.’ I mean, let’s just be really blunt to these people.”
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
According to a recent press release the facility has undergone recent changes in leadership:
“Novant Health has made some leadership changes as it integrates with Wilmington, N.C.-based New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the health system said April 20.
Novant Health, based in Winston-Salem, N.C., completed its acquisition of New Hanover Regional in February. The leadership updates are effective May 1.

1. Shelbourn Stevens was named president of New Hanover Regional and Novant Health’s Coastal market, which includes Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, N.C., and Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw, N.C.
2. Novant Health named Laurie Whalin, PharmD, president and COO of Brunswick Medical Center.
3. Andre Boyd will continue serving as COO of New Hanover Regional. He will also be responsible for surgery and cardiac services, facilities, patient flow and support services in Novant Health’s Coastal market.
4. Ruth Glaser will serve as president and COO of Pender Memorial Hospital. She will also be responsible for home care, rehabilitation services, emergency medical services and transport services.
5. Novant Health named West Paul, MD, PhD, senior vice president and chief clinical officer for the health system’s Coastal market. He is former chief clinical officer of New Hanover Regional.
6. Philip Brown, MD, former executive vice president and chief physician executive at New Hanover Regional, will serve as system chief community impact officer as part of the Novant Health diversity, inclusion and equity team.
7. The role of Joseph Pino, MD, expanded from overseeing medical education at New Hanover Regional to now senior vice president of medical education at the systemwide level.
