It’s just low-hanging fruit, folks. I think they think if they can bring back the RED SCARE that it will somehow turn the people back in their favor. For several months now Democrats have long sought to associate, in some way, shape or form, The Trump Administration to deep ties with Russia.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) cited “evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”
“It’s good politics because it takes the pressure off Hillary and puts it on Trump,” said Democratic strategist Brad Bannon. “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”
“This is just playing the cards that Trump has given them. This is turning his argument [that the election will be rigged] against him,” said Jim Manley, a Democratic strategist who backs Clinton.
