You may recall back in February when RINO Senator Mitt Romney joined forced with the Democrats to vote against President Trump in the impeachment trial.
This backfired on Romney by annihilating any chance he might have had at winning another term in the Senate in the upcoming election.
Because he sided with the Democrats, he has completely alienated himself by making enemies with every GOP Senator. He also gave them a talking point to brag against the President so the could claim the vote was bi-partisan.
To this day Romney continues to suffer for his vote.
Now President Trump has assembled a team of Senators to help with the reopening of the nation which includes every single Republican Senator with the exception on one lonely backstabber, Mitt Romney.
According to a press release put out by the White House:
“The president announced that he will soon provide guidance to America’s governors to determine their ability to reignite the economies in their respective states.”
“The dialogue between the president, senior administration officials and the bipartisan group of members of Congress also included a range of topics, namely the need for additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program, the international and domestic supply chains, ways to energize the economy, surprise medical billing, clarifying the difference between essential and non-essential workers, mental health, and relief for small businesses.”
USA Today also included that the panel “includes 65 senators and 32 House members” which included 12 Democratic senators, 10 House Democrats as well as one independent in addition to the Republican congressmen who make up the majority of the council.
Also, during his calls with lawmakers on Thursday, Trump considered questions about increased testing for the coronavirus and how the country could safely reopen without increasing the rate of infection.
