One of the proudest moments in the world for a parent is when their child takes their first step.
It’s one of those significant moments in life, like their first words, their first prom, and eventually their first day of college, that demonstrate how much your child is developing. Even though there are many difficulties along the way and everything moves so quickly, most parents would agree that it is completely worthwhile.
A cute toddler named Olivia took her first steps back in 2016. Fortunately, a video of the event was taken, and it was later uploaded to YouTube in July of that same year. Millions of people noticed because it was so pure and priceless, and little Olivia gained popularity!
Olivia Busby is one of the quintuplets of the Busby Family; the Busbys are parents to 6 little girls. But, more interestingly, they have the only all-girl quintuplets in the U.S among their brood. The girls were born on April 8, 2015.
And imagine all the special moments that happen at roughly the same time in a house like that! That would explain why they have over 240 MILLION views to go along with the numerous videos of the kids on their YouTube channel.
Their channel has 1.3 million subscribers, and occasionally their videos receive over 100,000 views in a matter of days. It goes without saying that these kids are maturing in the public eye, and doing so in style!
Olivia is seen at home playing with her sisters, four on the carpet (nice and soft for any potential “landing,” of course). They are all playing with their dolls and toys and generally having fun. Another day in the world of toddlers! They couldn’t have known that Olivia was about to take her very first, most remarkable step. Most likely, Olivia didn’t even recognize herself!
Parents are always caught off guard by the first step, and this time was no exception.
The Busbys captured a precious moment of their daughter Olivia. In their caption, they explain:
“We were able to catch the cutest thing today. Olivia let out the most jolly belly laughs and then immediately took her first steps!”
The best part of the entire clip, though, maybe when she laughs the loudest and heartiest right before taking her first steps. If that surprised her mother more than her first steps, we wouldn’t be surprised!
When you hear her laugh, you can’t help but smile from ear to ear because it is so contagious. In fact, you’re probably going to respond with your own hearty chuckle. One of those laughs that makes you smile without even trying.
The clip now has over a million views with thousands of likes and it is easy to see why. The boundless amount of happiness is one hundred percent contagious in the best way.
