Trump supporters in New York wouldn’t let a little rain stop them from taking part in a “TrumpStock” boat parade on Saturday. Crowds showed up to show their support of the incumbent president in the Empire State.

The event in Long Island went along as planned despite the summer showers that made their way through the state.

A video posted to Twitter by Daily Caller reporter Stephanie Hamill shows dozens of boats floating down the parade route sporting “Trump 2020” and United States flags on their vessels.

The plan for the day was to have two separate parade routes in Patchogue and Massapequa to eventually meet up at the Robert Moses Bridge. There were also boat charters available for those people that didn’t have their own boat.

Those in attendance respectfully obeyed all maritime laws and social distancing precautions to sole the spread of the novel coronavirus, according to the news outlet Patch.

This event will be just one of many in-person campaign events and rallies scheduled to take place after the lockdown due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Just last week President Trump held rallies in Tulsa, Oklahoma and made other appearances around the country and he has even more planned. Vice President Pence, however, has had to postpone upcoming events in Arizona and Florida due to spikes in reported coronavirus cases in those areas.
