Piers Morgan Calls for ‘The View’ to Be Canceled After Their Failed Attempts to Cancel Trump

When Barbara Walters launched The View back in 1997, it was supposed to be a groundbreaking show featuring a panel of women with diverse political opinions. Fast forward to today, and that vision has been entirely lost. Instead of meaningful debates and balanced viewpoints, The View has devolved into a soapbox for radical left-wing talking points.

The current lineup—Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin—didn’t just lean left; they dove headfirst into the progressive pool. All proudly backed Kamala Harris in the election, only to be left speechless when Donald Trump not only crushed her in the Electoral College but also won the popular vote. That kind of decisive victory sent a clear message: America has had enough of the nonsense.

And yet, The View remains oblivious, continuing its anti-Trump tirades while most of the country has moved on. The fact that Trump won so convincingly only underscores how out of touch the show’s hosts are with everyday Americans. No wonder British media personality Piers Morgan is calling for The View to be canceled outright.

Piers Morgan Calls Out the Hypocrisy

“I don’t like cancel culture,” Morgan wrote in The New York Post. “But given that the hosts of The View have, by their own admission, worked so hard to cancel Donald Trump, it’s time they were canceled themselves.”

Morgan didn’t mince words, describing the co-hosts as “partisan obsessives competing with each other over who detests Trump most.” He went on to label The View a “pointless, irrelevant parody of itself” that needs to be put out of its misery.

And honestly, can you blame him? Instead of addressing why Harris lost—or the glaring issues plaguing the country under the Biden-Harris administration—the hosts have resorted to the same tired rhetoric: blaming racism, sexism, and cultural resentment.

Sunny Hostin, one of the show’s most vocal liberals, has gone so far as to claim that Harris’ loss “has nothing to do with policy.” Sure, because skyrocketing inflation, a broken border, and an economy in freefall had nothing to do with voter decisions.

Kamala’s Self-Inflicted Wounds

Ironically, Kamala Harris might have sealed her own fate during an appearance on The View. In a softball interview, Hostin asked Harris if there was anything she would’ve done differently than President Biden over the past four years. Harris’ response? A tone-deaf, “There’s not a thing that comes to mind.”

In a single sentence, Harris reminded voters that she was a willing architect of the Biden administration’s failures. Inflation? Border chaos? An economy in shambles? Harris essentially said, “Yep, I own all of that.”

It didn’t sit well with Americans who’ve spent the last four years struggling to make ends meet. Wanting a change, they went with Trump.

Behar’s Admission of Defeat

Even Joy Behar, usually unshakable in her partisanship, admitted the bitter truth on air. “We lost the election. We’re miserable,” she confessed. “Half of this country is miserable… We hate that he won.”

If you ask me, that “misery” stems from more than just losing an election—it’s the sinking realization that The View has become irrelevant. The hosts’ echo chamber of anti-Trump hysteria no longer resonates with the American people.

A Show Past Its Prime

The writing is on the wall for The View. Instead of adapting to the changing political landscape or attempting to understand why Trump’s message resonates, the show clings to its outdated playbook of blame and bitterness.

Maybe it’s time to give The View the cancellation it’s been working so hard to avoid. After all, if the hosts can’t offer anything beyond tired complaints and out-of-touch talking points, what’s the point? America has already moved on—perhaps it’s time for The View to do the same.
