North Korea Gets Caught In Their Own Web Of Lies

History pretty much proves that North Korea is not to be trusted.

The super-secretive nation is often referred to as a “hermit kingdom” due to the fact that the country and its people are kept separate from global society, therefore, causing citizens to believe their leader can do no wrong and everyone else is just terrible.

That is because North Korean propaganda consistently portrays the rest of the world as an enemy of the DPRK, and all of the nation’s problems can be blamed on other global superpowers conspiring against them.

North Korean leaders also lie to their citizens and the rest of the world by making outrageous claims such as insisting that they have suffered from exactly zero cases of COVID-19.

While we already knew this was a lie, there is now significant evidence proving as such.

The World Health Organization’s (W.H.O.) global coronavirus vaccine distribution program has reportedly reserved about 2 million doses for the government of North Korea, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported Thursday, raising questions regarding Pyongyang’s claim that it has yet to see a single case of the disease within its borders.

The apparent confirmation from the COVAX program, designed to help underprivileged and developing nations access doses of the several approved vaccines currently circulating globally, follows a report by the Wall Street Journal in early January claiming the communist government of North Korea had reached out to vaccine distributors seeking to purchase doses.

There was a period of time during the pandemic when North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was feared to have fallen ill with the virus and mysteriously disappeared for weeks, only to reappear in the public space with no explanation.
