Here we go again with the Biden administration showing complete disregard for the norms of governance. Jill Biden, unelected and unqualified, showing up to lead the first White House cabinet meeting in nearly a year? This is a clear insult to every American who expects their government to be run by those chosen by the people—not by the spouse of an incapacitated president. Where is Joe? How is this remotely acceptable?
Let’s not sugarcoat it: Jill Biden’s presence at this cabinet meeting is downright bizarre. The First Lady is not elected, holds no official position, and certainly doesn’t have security clearance to handle the serious matters addressed at these gatherings. But there she was, stepping in like it’s perfectly normal. To make matters worse, it’s the first cabinet meeting in nearly a year. Is this administration even functioning?
Andrea Tantaros put it perfectly when she said, “She cannot lead a presidential Cabinet meeting.” Well, obviously! Yet, somehow, the media gives her a pass. Could you imagine if Melania Trump had tried to do this? The press would have had a field day. But because it’s Jill Biden, the mainstream media is silent. MSNBC even had the audacity to frame her involvement as part of her support for a “White House initiative,” as if that justifies her overreach.
And let’s talk about the bigger picture here. Jill Biden’s involvement is reminiscent of Edith Wilson, who famously stepped in after Woodrow Wilson’s stroke, making crucial decisions for the country without any democratic legitimacy. Is history repeating itself? Is Joe Biden really in charge, or is Jill running the show behind closed doors?
Vivek Ramaswamy hit the nail on the head: “The same number of people have voted for Jill Biden to be President as have voted for Kamala: zero.” What we’re seeing here is a complete erosion of democratic principles. It’s outrageous that Jill Biden, who has no accountability to the American public, is wielding this kind of power.
Let’s not forget that this is happening while real issues continue to pile up—record inflation, rising crime, and a border crisis, just to name a few. Yet instead of addressing these pressing problems, the administration finally holds a cabinet meeting, and it’s Jill Biden taking center stage. How is that supposed to inspire confidence in the leadership of this country?
It’s time we start asking serious questions: Who’s running the country? Is it Joe Biden, or is Jill Biden taking over while the media conveniently looks the other way? America deserves better than a shadow presidency led by someone who wasn’t elected and has no business running cabinet meetings.
