Actor Gary Sinise best known for his role as Lt. Dan from the acclaimed Forrest Gump film, was honored for his acting and decades of pro-Military activism.
But he has starred in many great and memorable roles, including Lt. Dan Taylor in “Forrest Gump,” Det. Mac Taylor in “CSI:NY,” ruthless kidnapper Jimmy Shaker in Mel Gibson’s “Ransom,” and George in the film adaptation of John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice & Men.”
Gary even has his own band, the Lieutenant Dan Band, inspired by his work with Tom Hanks. They tour all over for the armed forces.
