News For You

Sean Spicer, the outgoing White House Press Secretary, decided to pop in this week to the podium but not for a press conference. Barely a week ago, Spicer announced that he was resigning from his position after President Donald Trump appointed Anthony Scaramucci, a New York financier, as the new communications direct. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Spicer’s top deputy, will now serve as press secretary from here on you.

“I think there’s been, at times, a disconnect between the way we see the president and how much we love the president and the way some of you perhaps see the president,” Mr. Scaramucci said during a news conference that kicked off with his announcement of Ms. Sanders’s new job.
