Election Shenanigans in Pennsylvania: Here We Go Again

More News For You

It’s the same story, different election. Once again, Pennsylvania finds itself in the national spotlight, and surprise, surprise—it’s the Democrats pulling every dirty trick in the book to tip the scales in their favor.

This time, the drama centers on incumbent Democrat Bob Casey. Despite Republican challenger Dave McCormick securing a clear 26,000-vote lead, Casey refuses to concede. Why? Because in Casey’s world, rules about ballots—like having dates or signatures—are just pesky suggestions.

The courts couldn’t be clearer: undated or unsigned ballots are invalid. Yet here we are, watching Democratic strongholds like Philadelphia blatantly flout the law. It’s a well-worn script: keep counting questionable ballots until the numbers magically shift their way. Sound familiar? It’s another chapter in the left’s playbook for “defending democracy” by undermining it.

Mike Lee Steps In

Senator Mike Lee, a Republican from Utah, isn’t having it. He’s calling out Casey’s antics and hinting at an unprecedented move: the Senate might refuse to seat Casey if he relies on illegal ballots to declare victory.

Lee reminded everyone of Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution, which gives the Senate the authority to judge its own elections. His message is loud and clear: if Casey won’t step aside, the Senate just might force him out.

Meanwhile, Democratic officials aren’t even pretending to play by the rules. Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia went so far as to justify counting illegal ballots, shrugging off court rulings with an eye-rolling excuse: “People violate laws anytime they want.” Imagine that logic in any other situation—complete chaos.

Costly Recounts and GOP Outrage

The Republican National Committee is calling out this circus for what it is: an outright attempt to rewrite the election results. RNC Chairman Michael Whatley slammed Democrats’ behavior as a “brazen” attack on the electoral process.

And it’s costing taxpayers dearly. Recounts, prompted by Democratic stonewalling, are racking up over $1 million in expenses. Meanwhile, McCormick’s campaign and growing numbers of GOP leaders are demanding Casey concede. Even Mike Lee took to social media to urge him to “do the right thing.” Predictably, Casey isn’t budging.

Instead, he’s doubling down, claiming every ballot—legal or not—should count. The silence from his campaign on these accusations speaks volumes.

A National Problem

This isn’t just about Pennsylvania; it’s a symptom of a larger issue. Democrats across the country cry foul whenever they lose, yet they have no problem bending the rules when it suits them. Pennsylvania has become the poster child for this hypocrisy.

When Democratic officials blatantly ignore court rulings and count fraudulent ballots, it’s not just a local scandal; it’s a threat to the entire electoral process. If rules don’t matter here, where will they matter?

The left loves to scream about threats to democracy. But their actions—ignoring laws, rewriting rules, and undermining clear election results—tell a different story. You can’t make this up.
