President-elect Joe Biden is hitting the ground running as he prepares to take over the White House next month and with that change, a notable shift in the way our nation operates will be felt.

In fact, this sudden change of events could cause a political upheaval with Democrats poised to take over the establishment that had become used to the boisterous Commander in Chief, President Donald Trump.

So prepare yourselves, because everything that Trump would do, Biden will be working to do the opposite and he’s starting with one major change.

Biden, during an interview with CNN, said he will ask Americans to mask up, but only for a limited period.

“The first day I’m inaugurated I’m going to ask the public for 100 days to mask,” Biden said. “Just 100, not forever — 100 days.”

“I think we’ll see a significant reduction that occurs with vaccinations and masking to drive down the numbers considerably.”

Biden’s comments come a day after the U.S. recorded a new high in coronavirus-related fatalities on Wednesday at 2,804, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The great mask debate has been a hostile one, with half of Americans on the right side of the aisle largely comparing the idea of mandating to tyranny, the main objection being that the government will have some control over a part of our bodies.

On the other hand, believers of mask-wearing and the mandates they could be a part of, feel that anti-mask folks are cruel and selfish as they are not doing their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
