In an ideal world, no manager would require training or guidance on how to handle a difficult, disgruntled, or angry employee. Even so, no one is perfect, and tensions can arise when personalities clash, emotions run high, or ego gets in the way.

But for this young worker, a problematic employee behavior like all workplace has, turn the aggression in another level! His life goes from bad to worse, after throwing tantrum when told he can’t go home early.

22-year-old Wendy’s worker from Palm Bay, Florida was reportedly so upset that he couldn’t leave work before his scheduled clock-out time that he felt the need to smash computer equipment worth thousands of dollars, the Sebastian Daily reported. In addition, his life has become much worse now that the police are involved, making his day even worse if he already thought it was horrible for whatever reason he wanted to leave work early.

The Sebastian Daily Twitter account wrote, “Wendy’s worker breaks equipment when told he couldn’t go home early in Palm Bay, Florida.”

After the manager received a complaint about employee Carlos Morales for creating the disturbance and damaging multiple pieces of electronic equipment, Palm Bay police were called to the restaurant.

According to an affidavit, Morales and his boss got into a fight over Morales’ inability to leave work early. Although it’s unclear why he wanted to quit work so badly, his behavior as a result of the conflict was not justified.

According to an affidavit, Morales and his boss got into a fight over Morales’ inability to leave work early. Although it’s unclear why he wanted to quit work so badly, his behavior as a result of the conflict was not justified. Before finally destroying a pricey computer terminal that served as a server for all other terminals in the restaurant, Morales “began dumping liquids on computer equipment and smashing the computer screen.” Roughly, is worth about $8,000 in all.

Palm Bay police said, “He then threw the computer into the kitchen area, breaking it into pieces.”

Video of Morales’ rage demonstrated his destructive behavior, police said. Police from Palm Bay arrived at the restaurant not long after Morales had received his wish to go early, albeit under different circumstances.

Morales admitted to destroying the computer equipment after first admitting that he had argued with his supervisor regarding the early clock-out situation, the responding officers said. Morales now finds himself in a huge legal tangle that will definitely make him feel many regrets, or at least it should make him feel many regrets, due to the expensive equipment that Morales wrecked at his former place of employment.

There are a lot of reasons why work ethic now is much lower than it was even ten or more years ago, but it appears like it’s most prevalent among today’s kids. That type of behavior certainly isn’t exclusive to younger generations.

Any young adult should know by that age that breaking equipment and being disruptive isn’t the solution, whether Morales wanted to go early to play video games with his buddies, which is not implausible, or whether he was upset because he had a family issue that he wasn’t able to attend to.

All throughout childhood, those crucial lessons are taught at home, in church, and even at school.
