A woman on a flight back to her home in Detroit, Michigan got the shock of her life when she realized a man was urinating on her mid-flight. It was later revealed that the man was a well-known pastor from North Carolina.

Following a wonderful girls’ night out on a weekend to Las Vegas, a woman named Alicia Beverly was traveling home to Detroit on a Monday night on a red-eye Delta flight, while flying Beverly dozed off in her seat, resting in the backseat next to her sister. However, something unusual and warm sensation happened, causing her to bolt awake mid-flight. Interrupted her silent slumber.

Alicia Beverly was returning to Detroit with her sister after a girls’ trip to Las Vegas.

Beverly claimed that she was startled out of sleep by a fleeting sensation that she had been urinated on. “It felt warm, like on the side of me I felt something warm,” Beverly stated. While still drowsy with sleep something on her right side caught her eye. The revelation resulted in a rightfully emotional response, causing the woman to scream, waking other passengers.

Beverly stated that the moment she opened her eyes after the unusual sensation woke her up, just to find a pastor relieving himself on the plane. And he was not only relieving himself, but he was also urinating on the sleeping woman.

“I jump up and I seen his private area out and I screamed and that woke everybody up. By that time I actually looked at him and I see him shake himself off and I’m like this man just peed on me! I looked and there was a puddle of pee in the seats!” she said.

Beverly’s following screamed and woke up the whole plane. Among the passengers was an off-duty officer who rushed to Beverly’s aid and restrained him. The report said some sources said the urination was in response to a sleep aid that the pastor had taken.

Alicia Beverly tearfully recalled the incident.

Beverly added, He didn’t say anything the whole time he was standing there.” After the ordeal, what was even more traumatizing was that she had to remain in the same clothes for the rest of the journey. This was for several hours till they reached the Detroit Metro in Romulus.

The pastor was then taken into custody. He has not been charged. The FBI is investigating the case. Since the incident, she managed to go to work but left early, Beverly said that she has had trouble sleeping and is suffering from severe anxiety following the incident.

“I left work yesterday because I couldn’t stay but I had to tell them why I needed to leave. It was a lot. My anxiety was really high literally. Since then I have only gotten 4 hours of sleep,” Beverly said.

She thanked the off-duty officer who helped her out on the plane by restraining the pastor. She also hoped the pastor would be punished. The pastor’s name won’t be made public until the trial, according to Mara Schneider, a spokesperson for the FBI’s Detroit office, “Until he appears in front of a judge and therefore gets formally charged, we will not be releasing his name.”
