Trump gave vague details on his future plans as he spoke to the crowd at Andrews, but he did promise one thing: he’d be back.
President Donald Trump bid farewell to staff and supporters Wednesday, leaving Washington, DC, for the last time as president aboard Air Force One.
“Goodbye. I love you. We’ll be back in some form,” Trump said as he concluded his remarks, noting “I will be watching. I will be listening” as a new administration took office.
The possibility that the former president could form a new, “Patriot Party” is the latest suggestion of a path forward coming out of the White House and broke into the headlines just hours before Joe Biden was set to be inaugurated.
