We were all happy to hear the news this past Friday that Beto O’Rourke announced his withdrawal from the 2020 presidential election. I guess he wasn’t “born for this” and his plan on “coming for our guns” wasn’t very popular with the people.
Beto said in a tweet, “It is clear to me now that this campaign does not have the means to move forward successfully.”
He tweeted, “I am grateful to all the people who made up the heart and soul of this campaign. You were among the hundreds of thousands who made a donation, signed up to volunteer or spread the word about this campaign and our opportunity to help decide the election of our lifetime.”
Tomi Lahren mocked the former representative saying, “Bee-too, Bet-oh, Bay-toe, real name Robert Francis O’Rourke, you can call him a lot of names but Mr. President is not one of them.”
On Fox Nation’s “No Interruption,” Lahren said on O’Rourke’s decision that she felt “a little bit safer thanks to the good news.”
President Trump also expressed his thoughts on the announcement writing, “Oh no, Beto just dropped out of race for President despite him saying he was ‘born for this.’ I don’t think so!”
Lahren expressed she was actually a little disappointed by the news of O’Rourke’s departure, “I am a little sad,” admitted Lahren. “Now that Beto Francis is out of the race what will we do for entertainment?”
“Then he was left to his own devices and uh…they didn’t work. Quite frankly I think Beto would be better off…somewhere he can make a mockery of himself without destroying our nation,” Lahren said.
Well, we do have a dozen other clowns left in the race. Now if only Kamala Harris would follow suit it would be like Christmas came early.
