For the first time in several weeks, Deshaun Watson quarterback for the Houston Texans posted a tweet to remind fans that he is still in the game and clearly an elite NFL star.
There hasn’t been an update from Watson since mid-March made a statement on Twitter attempting to come out ahead of the sexual misconduct allegations that would soon be made public.
Deshaun Watson is working out. He posts on social media (IG story) for the first time since March 16 – the evening he released his statement that he was aware of a lawsuit & he looked forward to clearing his name. #NFL #Texans pic.twitter.com/RmZv2deRHn

Watson claimed to have done nothing wrong and has always maintained his innocence.
“I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect,” Watson said later adding, “This isn’t about money for me – it’s about clearing my name, and I look forward to doing that.”
But that was two months ago and since then the Houston QB has gone silent. Instead, his attorney, Rusty Hardin, did all the talking for him.
Now the NFL season is nearly upon us and Watson thought it might be a good idea to remind all the teams that he is still focused on his career and ready to play.
The only problem with that is Watson is still under investigation by the NFL for the sexual misconduct allegations from more than 20 accusers who claim he overstepped boundaries during what was supposed to be routine massage therapy sessions.
There is a good chance the QB could be suspended as soon as the league is made aware that he violated the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy. This is bad news for any teams who were considering trading for him.
At this point, things are up in the air with Watson’s NFL career but at least he has remained hopeful that he’ll be back on the field again soon.
