For years now there have been rumors that martial law was coming, likely brought on by government agents meant to enslave anyone who can’t buy their way out of the new world order.
These horror stories first began popping up during the Bush administration, fueled by the fairly alarming realities within The Patriot Act.
Then, Infowars star Alex Jones warned that we would be brought to our proverbial knees by Barack Obama, who would usher in a globalist authoritarianism that would strip us of our freedom and dignity.
Now, here we are in 2020 and a pro-Trump attorney is suggesting that the Commander in Chief actually declare martial law…but only in an attempt to win the election.
Georgia attorney Lin Wood, who’s been involved in long-shot legal efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, urged President Donald Trump to declare martial law.
Wood, an attorney for Kenosha gunman Kyle Rittenhouse who signed on to the 104-page “Kraken” lawsuit filed by former Trump attorney Sidney Powell, called for draconian measures to prevent the election from being certified for Joe Biden.
“Good morning,” Wood tweeted. “Our country is headed to civil war. A war created by 3rd party bad actors for their benefit – not for We The People.”
TAKE THE POLL: Will you take a coronavirus vaccine when it’s available?
“Communist China is leading the nefarious efforts to take away our freedom,” he added. “@realDonaldTrump should declare martial law.”
The theory is that a “partial martial law” could be declared in order to facilitate a “re-do” of the 2020 presidential election.
There has been almost no real support for the idea outside of Wood’s tweet and the wishes of the “We The People Convention”, who Wood retweeted along with his statement.
Good morning.
