President Trump has had a bit of a revolving door in his administration during his time in the White House, but many political observers saw this coming so it’s not unexpected.

But the mainstream media blamed the high turnover on mismanagement or even some extreme work conditions that made it impossible for the Trump team to keep staff.

The harsh reality is there’s a good chance that not everyone agreed with Trump’s “do it until it’s done” management style.

However in this instance, one of the President’s most loyal former supporters is walking away after the two have experienced a very public falling out.

Attorney General William Barr, an outspoken proponent of conservative values and an expansive view of presidential power, will leave office before Christmas, President Trump announced in a tweet Monday afternoon.

Trump said he and Barr had a “very nice meeting” at the White House and that their “relationship has been a very good one.”

Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen will become acting attorney general, Trump said.

In a letter to the president, Barr said he is proud to have played a role in Trump’s administration, and said he would depart December 23.

The president may have felt betrayed when Barr announced that the DOJ had not found any widespread evidence of voter fraud – something that the Commander in Chief is certain was the reason for his electoral loss in 2020.
