Rudy Giuliani is unlikely to face federal charges stemming from a FARA investigation led by federal prosecutors in Manhattan, according to three people familiar with the matter as reported by NBC News on Wednesday.

According to the New York Times’ report, federal prosecutors have been investigating Giuliani for nearly two years to determine whether he illegally lobbied the Trump administration in favor of Ukrainian officials who had been collaborating with him in his quest to dig up dirt on the Biden family.

“If I were representing someone else, I would tell my client to be cautiously optimistic,” Giuliani told NBC News. “These are good signs … but to quote Yogi Berra — it ain’t over till it’s over.”

Our friends from The Gateway Pundit reported:

In April the Biden administration’s Justice Department obtained a search warrant for Rudy Giuliani and used it to search his New York City apartment and office, seizing records and electronic devices.

It is well known that Rudy Giuliani exposed the Biden crime family and their illegal and unethical dealings with numerous foreign governments and regimes including Ukraine.  So this was payback from the left.

And it is well known that the Biden Crime Family pushed the Ukrainian government to fire the prosecutor investigating Joe Biden’s crooked and drug-addled son Hunter Biden.

Rudy Giuliani later released a statement about the political raid on his home and business.
Rudy said the corrupt Biden DOJ took everything but the computer hard drives from Hunter Biden’s laptop computer.

Now, this…On Sunday Rudy told former Governor Mike Huckabee the FBI refused to take the Hunter hard drives — and the hard drives contained child pornography!

The Biden DOJ took everything but the evidence of criminal actions that were stored on Hunter Biden’s laptop!

This was a travesty.

As Miranda Devine says in her tweet, “The process is the punishment.”

Rudy Giuliani is unlikely to face federal charges stemming from his dealings in Ukraine, according to three people familiar with the matter.

Giuliani, the former New York mayor and personal attorney for Donald Trump, has been under investigation by Manhattan federal prosecutors for nearly two years. He was a key figure in the events that led to Trump’s first impeachment, accused of relying on Ukrainian officials and members of parliament to try to dig up dirt about Joe Biden as he ran for president.

Federal investigators seized Giuliani’s electronic devices in April 2021 in part to see whether they contained any evidence showing efforts to oust U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and whether he potentially violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act, requiring the disclosure of certain political activities or interests.

Yovanovitch was one of the key witnesses to testify in the House’s first impeachment inquiry into Trump, telling Congress she was subjected to a smear campaign based on lies that led to her abrupt removal in 2019.

In an interview with NBC News, Giuliani said that he met with federal prosecutors and the FBI in February and that his phones had been returned.

News that Giuliani is unlikely to face charges for lobbying on behalf of a foreign government comes amid an investigation of Hunter Biden that reportedly encompasses his overseas dealings.
