There is no longer any real doubt that Donald Trump is going to be a part of American politics for the foreseeable future. The former President’s recent speech at CPAC seemed to suggest that he would not only be running for the office again in 2024, but that he was the true face of the Republican Party these days.
This, of course, bothers Democrats to no end. They had just rid themselves of Trump the Commander in Chief, and were hoping that Trump the citizen would remain largely ineffectual in the political realm.
That certainly doesn’t appear to fit into Trump’s plans however.
Former President Trump sat down with Judge Jeanine Pirro for an exclusive interview that aired on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on Saturday night.
“A lot of people want me to” visit the border, Trump told Pirro.
In the interview, Trump said he would probably visit the southern border over the next few weeks.
Trump called President Biden’s undoing of the “Remain in Mexico” policy, or the Migrant Protection Protocol, a “very bad decision.”
“Thousands and thousands of people are coming up right now as we speak. And you’re going to have millions of people pouring into our country. And it’s going to destroy our country,” Trump told Pirro.
Donald Trump’s first campaign for President focused heavily on the issues surrounding the US immigration system, and there is no doubt that the Biden team are considering this latest stunt to be a part of a possible 2024 plan.
