Democrats Show How Out Of Touch They Are With Lawsuit Against This Organization

One of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s main points during his campaign has been more gun control. He announced that if he were to win the election he will “take on the powerful gun lobby to pass universal background checks, ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and close loopholes to keep guns out of dangerous hands. We can and will end our gun violence epidemic.”

And then he went on Twitter and made the statement, “Weapons of war have no place in our communities. When I was a senator, I took on the @NRA and secured a 10-year ban on assault weapons — and as president, I’ll ban these weapons again.”

The National Rifle Association quickly fired back at Biden, “Clearly Joe didn’t write this tweet. The complete sentences gave it away. Joe and his supporters fear-monger using words like “assault weapon” to describe America’s most popular home defense rifle – the AR-15 – or “AR-14″ to Joe. Joe – We’ll say it real slow. Come and Take It.”

Is it a coincidence that the day after Biden’s announcement Letitia James, State of New York’s Attorney General, filed a lawsuit to disband the NRA citing excessive spending. She made claims that the organization has spent too much money on themselves and not enough toward fighting gun control laws.

In a statement announcing the lawsuit, James said, “The NRA’s influence has been so powerful that the organization went unchecked for decades while top executives funneled millions into their own pockets. The NRA is fraught with fraud and abuse, which is why, today, we seek to dissolve the NRA, because no organization is above the law.”

Leftists know that even if Biden is elected president there is no way the AR-15 will be banned or any type of gun control will be put in place if the NRA is still active.

It just shows how out of touch the Democrats are by trying to make gun control the issue. Over the past few months, gun sales have hit record highs. In those cities defunding the police, neighborhoods have created armed patrols to protects themselves and Democrats want to take those guns away. We might as well just put our guns directly into the hands of criminals. Do they really think this is the answer??
