President Trump has made it clear that he will not be leaving the White House without putting up a fight. He insists that his legal team will find evidence suggesting that the Democrats altered the election results to come out in their favor.

Because several battleground states, including Georgia,  have such razor-thin margins the possibility of a recount is already high and Trump is threatening to take matters to the Supreme Court

Sp President Trump is appointing someone he can trust to lead in these possible recount efforts.

Georgia Rep. Doug Collins — who just lost his bid for a Senate seat — will lead the Trump campaign’s recount effort in the state that was too close to call.

The move was announced Sunday night and the recount in The Peach State will begin when “the canvassing has concluded,” according to President Trump’s campaign.

“Republicans stand by the ideal that every eligible voter should be able to vote legally and have it be counted,” Collins said in a statement.

Collins and the Trump campaign both claimed, without providing evidence, that ballots were “improperly harvested” in Georgia.

Collins has been a loyal President Trump supporters in recent years was considered a fierce ally of the Commander in Cheif during the Democrat’s unfounded push for impeachment several months ago.
