As Dr. Seuss is cancelled, Dr. Anthony Fauci is hailed a hero…what alternate reality am I living in??

Simon & Schuster is set to publish a new children’s book that takes a look at Fauci’s life and how he grew up to become a doctor. The book praises him and his medical career, dubbing him “America’s doctor.”

Dr. Fauci: How a Boy from Brooklyn Became America’s Doctor is scheduled to hit bookshelves on June 29.

On Sunday, Author Kate Messner tweeted the cover art for for the book:

The publisher’s official description reads:

This engaging narrative, which draws from interviews the author did with Dr. Fauci himself, follows Anthony from his Brooklyn beginnings through medical school and his challenging role working with seven US presidents to tackle some of the biggest public health challenges of the past fifty years, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Extensive backmatter rounds out Dr. Fauci’s story with a timeline, recommended reading, a full spread of facts about vaccines and how they work, and Dr. Fauci’s own tips for future scientists.

Despite someone people hailing him as a hero, there are many people who see through the smoke and mirrors. Fauci is a fraud. Even President Donald Trump realized it, and distanced himself from Fauci.

In my home, we LOVE books. My daughter has a few hundred books on her shelves. However, I can guarantee you that this one will never be one of them. Oh, by the way, we have almost every Dr. Seuss book and we read them often!
