The GOP has a decision to make, and they’re running out of time to make it.
They need to decide whether or not they’ll be united behind former President Donald Trump in the days and weeks to come. Trump is going to be active in the party moving forward, and there is plenty of evidence to suggest that he’ll be running again in 2024.

Trump returns to the electoral battlefield Saturday as the marquee speaker at the North Carolina Republican Party’s state convention. “If the president feels like he’s in a good position, I think there’s a good chance that he does it,” Trump adviser Jason Miller said in a telephone interview. “For the more immediate impact, there’s the issue of turning out Trump voters for the midterm elections.”
Then came the soundbite.
And, Miller added, “President Trump is the leader of the Republican Party.”
