Former President Obama has endorsed Emmanuel Macron for the French presidential election over Marine Le Pen. This is all the proof you need.
Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for Obama, stated he would not endorse anyone in the French election but I guess that has changed. What a flip flopper… anyway, he posted a video on his Twitter account where he has encouraged voters to pick “center-left” and elect Emmanuel Macron.
“President Obama appreciated the opportunity to hear from Mr. Macron about his campaign and the important upcoming presidential election in France, a country that President Obama remains deeply committed to as a close ally of the United States, and as a leader on behalf of liberal values in Europe and around the world,” Lewis said in a statement.
