How Mitch McConnell REALLY Feels About the Impeachment Trial

The Dems keep wasting their time going after Trump. They are scrounging to find something now that the impeachment investigation is official. If they don’t come up with anything now they are going to lose the tiny amount of credibility they have left with their constituents.

Despite the fake news they keep spewing about President Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell seems confident that the President will not be found guilty in his trial before the Senate.

“I will say I’m pretty sure how it’s likely to end,” McConnell told reporters. “If it were today, I don’t think there’s any question it would not lead to a removal.”

For the Senate to convict a president and remove him from office, two thirds would have to vote to convict Trump. That’s 20 Republicans! And that’s only if the Democrat-controlled House votes to impeach Trump.

“So the question is how long the Senate wants to take. How long do the presidential candidates want to be here on the floor of the Senate instead of Iowa and New Hampshire?” McConnell said.

“It’s very difficult to ascertain how long this takes. I’d be surprised if it didn’t end the way the two previous ones did, with the president not being removed from office,” he added in a reference to former Presidents Clinton and Nixon.

This whole this is a long, drawn-out waste of time and the leftist media can’t help but spread fake news about Trump and spin it so he looks guilty. Dems keep getting shut down with the truth.
