DeSantis Just Told ‘The View’ When And If He’ll Come On The Show

The several hosts of the talk show "The View," one of the most unpopular programs in IMDb’s ratings, are known for their liberal banter and criticism of the GOP, Both Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg have spent an absurd amount of time criticizing the Republican Party. Even still, they are prepared to compromise in order to have Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appear on the program, despite their loathing of the GOP.

Bryan Griffin, the governor's deputy press secretary, said on Monday that Governor DeSantis had been invited to appear on the show on an upcoming episode. A gracious and generous offer, to be sure.

"@TheView emailed our office on Friday asking for us to arrange an appearance from Governor DeSantis on the show. 'We would be honored,' they wrote," Griffin wrote.

However, without certain, neither Polkes nor any member of the ABC program's production team anticipated the response. The governor's press team openly declined the offer, most likely with his support, citing a string of libelous statements made by the program itself.

Griffin posted a screenshot of a note in which he rejected the media request.

"Thanks for the invite. I understand that you are sending this request on behalf of your team," Griffin wrote. "But are the hosts of the View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all of the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians to protect their health and livelihoods, to stand up for parents and children, and to defend freedom? Which of the below statements from the hosts of the View do you recommend our team consider when deciding if the interview will be a genuine pursuit of the truth? Or worth the time?"

Griffin continued by quoting the hosts of the show, including Joy Behar, who called DeSantis "a negligent, homicidal sociopath" who put people's lives in danger to "appeal to his white supremacist base... and get reelected," and Sunny Hostin, who called the governor "Death-Santis" and called him "a fascist and a bigot."

"We will pass on this offer," Griffin wrote. "Also please note — we don't coordinate appearances or events of a political nature from the official office. Our role is to serve the people of Florida."

That crashing sound you just heard? Well, that was the sound of Ron DeSantis’ campaign dropping the mic on “The View.”

The Left despises a few things, especially their chattering class of Democratic operators with microphones or keyboards: They detest being made fun of by their own words, they detest being exposed by someone who they perceive to be better than them and they detest being overlooked and made to feel insignificant in the real world.

With DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw tweeted Replying to Griffin's post.

"Perfect. There is nothing that infuriates liberals more than seeing their own insane words repeated back to them in black and white."

This is a classic "mike drop" moment because it demonstrates how pointless it is to try to play along with the MSM given how often they lie and manipulate the public. And as more members of the GOP and others realize this, the apparent "power" of the liberal entertainment elites will continue to decline.
