President Biden is now sending out a message to migrants who are planning on making their way into the United States: DO NOT COME.
George Stephanopoulos asked Biden during an ABC News interview if he made a “mistake” by failing to “anticipate” the surge at the southern border since the Presidential Election.
Biden pointed out that there were other surges at the border in both 2019 and 2020, but Stephanopolous fired back by saying “this one might be worse.”
Biden dismissed his critics who called him out for encouraging migrants to come into the country once he took office.
“Here’s the deal,” he said, “we are sending back people.”

“Do you have to say quite clearly, ‘don’t come?'” Stephanopoulos responded.
“Yes, I can say quite clearly: don’t come,” Biden stated, and added, “Don’t leave your town or city or community.”
Thousands of migrant children have already arrived at the border and are being relocated to various facilities, but the White House still maintains that the overwhelming surge is not a “crisis.”
