Philly criminal thugs must not watch the news. Another animal who thought he picked the perfect victim to target just got his clock cleaned for his efforts when the tables turned on him.
A 39-year-old pizza delivery guy was in the 3300 block of H St in the Kensington section of Philadelphia around 7:30 pm Thursday night when an armed thug approached to carjack him according to WXTF-TV.
According to police, it was at that point that the suspect allegedly pulled a gun, aimed it at the delivery guy, and told the driver he wanted his car.
But the driver does watch the news and came prepared so that he wasn’t going to be another Democrat-run city statistic of crime. He had his own personal delivery system concealed on his body.
When the thug aimed his weapon at the pizza guy, the driver pulled his weapon and fired several rounds at the carjacker, authorities told the outlet. He hit the thug six times, according to WPVI-TV. That’s what you call gun control.
WPVI said that the thug returned fire, but the pizza guy was not injured, according to Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace.
The suspect, 23, was taken to a hospital and is in extremely critical condition, WPVI reported. Authorities said he was being held as a prisoner.
The pizza guy had a concealed carry permit for his firearm, police told the People’s Republic of Philadelphia Inquirer.
This story ended the way it was meant to end. An innocent guy working for a living was attacked by a thug who thought he had the right to steal his car. He aimed a firearm at his victim, not realizing he was about to turn into the prey because his victim was exercising his Second Amendment right to defend himself against scumbags who carjack innocent people.
If Democrats had their way, the pizza guy would not have been allowed to carry a concealed weapon to defend himself. The victim in this case carried a firearm and did not abuse it or use it for anything until a criminal attacked him. That is the essence of what the Second Amendment is all about, but Democrat politicians have been trying for about a hundred years to take away guns from law-abiding citizens. Things could have gone much worse for the innocent pizza guy if he wasn’t protected with a legal firearm of his own. Ask yourself, why do Democrats try to remove the right to protect yourself from innocent, law-abiding citizens, knowing that criminals aren’t going to obey gun the same control laws?
Thanks to Democrats in City Hall and the Soros-funded district attorney, Philadelphia has seen a surge in carjackings already this year and the first month of the year isn’t even over yet. But we have seen a pattern of drivers fighting back and winning.
With over 90 carjackings in Philadelphia this year so far, when you add in last year’s numbers, there have been more than 750 carjackings in Philly in about one year’s time. The message? Don’t drive in Philadelphia because the city doesn’t care about you enough to put a stop to the out-of-control carjackings.
