An Alabama woman defended herself at all costs!
According to police, a woman threw a pot of hot grease across a man’s face after he allegedly broke into her home with a gun.
Police in Decatur, a city in the northern part of the state, were called to the victim’s home on August 1 on the 280 block of Wimberly Drive SW in Decatur, Alabama for a report of a domestic dispute. Officers arrived and found the suspect, 31-year-old Larondrick Macklin, with burns on his face.
As he was treated at a hospital, an investigation determined he broke into the woman’s home while carrying a firearm and was burned with hot grease during an altercation, police said.

Their relationship was not immediately clear, but authorities said Macklin does not live with the victim and they charged him with first-degree burglary and first-degree domestic violence.
A police spokeswoman stated, Emme Long, stated: “Since the situation was of a domestic nature, we are not at liberty to discuss the relationship between the victim and the suspect at this time.”
Macklin is being held in a local jail in lieu of a $300,000 bond.
He was taken to jail without incident after receiving medical attention.
According to AL.com, if Macklin is convicted he could face up to life in prison.
I guess it’s safe to say, Macklin picked the wrong house.
