Brave Reporter Asks Trump The Question All Of America Has Been Dying To Know The Answer To

I don’t know which one spread faster, the coronavirus or the popularity of Netflix’s new docuseries ‘Tiger King’. Over the past few weeks, Joe Exotic has become a household name.

Now Joe is officially on the White House’s radar all thanks to one brave reporter asking the question all of America wants the answer to. Does President Trump have plans to pardon the ‘Tiger King’ star and convicted felon?

This odd exchange happened Wednesday during, what else, the coronavirus taskforce briefing. The reporter asked President Trump if he had heard of the popular Netflix series, and if so, would he consider commuting Joe Exotic’s 22-year prison sentence.

The reporter then told the President that his own son, Don Jr., joked during a radio interview he would lobby his president father to pardon Joe Exotic just for the memes “and just for frankly watching the media reaction to this thing.”

This is really funny when you think about it. Trump asked which of his sons made the comment before answering in signature fashion, saying, “I know nothing about it.” However, that didn’t stop him from also saying he would look into it. For good measure, he took it one step further and asked another reporter Trump is known for feuding with, Jim Acosta, if he thought the pardon was a good idea.

As most of the world knows by now, Joe Exotic (real name Joe Schreibvogel) was found guilty of a murder for hire plot targeting his long time nemesis, Carole Baskin. He was put behind bars and sentenced to 22 years. This has lead to a lawsuit in which he claims the original judge was homophobic and biased. It has not been determined if he will receive a retrial with a new judge.
